  • Overview

    The primary function of this position is to deliver high quality service to our members. This includes identifying members’ needs and offering Meritrust products and services.

    Responsibilities

    The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

    • Drives revenue and member loyalty through proactive interactions; grows branch revenue through the acquisition and share of wallet growth of consumer and business households as well as through collaborative partnerships with eco-partners and community involvement activities; actively walks the retail floor,moving seamlessly to assist members, coach associates and ensure sales andservice expectations are achieved.
    • Leads, coaches and executes a best-in-class member experience within an omni channel environment; knowledgeable of the values, practices and market tolerances that align member needs and satisfaction and leverages that information to create customized member solutions.
    • Develops talent by creating engaged, inclusive and diverse teams who are empowered to speak freely and act with integrity; leads the performance management process for all direct reports; celebrates significant team and individual success; recognizes high performers.
    • Recognizes the need for and takes personal accountability to adapt to and lead others through organizational change while maintaining focus and productivity. Supports Vision and Purpose.
    • Ensures positive, successful communication of retail branch channel’s direction, vision and mission.
    • Understands and applies eective communication concepts, tools and techniques; able to transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs.
    • Utilizes branded sales process to incorporate member segments, marketopportunities, competitive forces and sales team effectiveness; identifies prioritiesand ensures sales teams execute against plans that focus on deepening clientrelationships, elevating market share and increasing share of wallet; drives sales teams to build a strong pipeline; relates branch and individual performance to company’s balanced scorecard.
    • Utilizes branded sales process to incorporate member segments, market opportunities, competitive forces and sales team effectiveness; identifies priorities and ensures sales teams execute against plans that focus on deepening client relationships, elevating market share and increasing share of wallet; drives sales teams to build a strong pipeline; relates branch and individual performance to company’s balanced scorecard.
    • Leads and impacts a broad range of eco-system partners in an omni channel environment; translates referral goals into behaviors and actions that demonstrate sales targets.
    • Applies knowledge of and ability to educate members and associates on banking issues, regulations, and business practices; advises, educates and engages employees and members on a variety of technological tools and resources, allowingthem to explore solutions to achieve their i immediate goals and overall financial wellbeing.
    • Ensures positive, successful communication of retail branch channel’s direction, vision and mission.
    • Connects the behavior of selling to the accepted execution of service; ensures a best-in-class experience through the attraction, on-boarding, coaching and development of Universal Associates who fulfil the responsibility of first impression specialist, key influencer and experience curator.

    Qualifications

    • Sales Experience of 5 years or more preferred.
    • 1-3 years in management role of relative experience, including employee development
    • Previous financial institution experience preferred, including cash handling and member service.  Knowledge of principles and practices of a financial institution
    • Excellent oral communication skills
    • Ability to operate applicable PC programs necessary for job function
    • High School diploma or equivalent
