  • Overview

    The primary function of this position is to oversee all aspects of Meritrust’s ATM program, including operations, maintenance and servicing of ATMs, eATMs, and ITMs monitoring and reporting of ATM fleet uptime, cultivating vendor relationships, and supporting strategic initiatives to leverage available ATM technology.



    • Lead the processing and support of ATM transactions
    • Monitor the uptime of ATMs for service quality ensuring transactions are delivered within established quality standards and holds vendors accountable to service levels
    • Oversees the execution of the ATM maintenance program and reports periodically on the performance of the program
    • Prepares periodic reports for management regarding the utilization and performance of the ATM network
    • Verify the accuracy of all ATM vendor bills and invoices for payment approved by management
    • Work with business units to support and advocate ATM deposit automation and future ATM technology deployment
    • Serves as liaison to the Marketing department and vendors to deploy ATM marketing screens as part of their campaign.
    • Communicates and tracks downtime reporting to minimize member impact
    • Maintain record of ATM contracts for upcoming renewal prior to expiration dates
    • Demonstrates ability to manage projects from inception through completion including ATM installations, conversions, upgrades and removals
    • Ensures the ATM program is compliant with all federal, state, and network rules and regulations
    • Maintains a strong knowledge of the ATM industry, hardware, operating system, and software
    • Keeps informed of new developments or ideas that would affect the ATM program through publications and ongoing training
    • Forecasts cash needs and provides limit recommendations to management
    • Cultivate relationships with department and branch personnel to develop a team atmosphere
    • Interact with staff and members through telephone, fax, mail, and all electronic methods
    • Monitor, document and process all requests from origination to resolution in tracking software
    • Write, develop and maintain procedures and documentation to improve efficiency and consistency
    • Work with vendors to determine appropriate problem solutions
    • Maintain confidentiality in all credit union and member matters adhering to compliance and regulation standards
    • Build a strong relationship with Meritrust service providers
    • Demonstrate critical thinking with new issues that arises and willingness to learn
    • Analyze trends and recommend actions
    • Manage escalated disputes and service issues
    • Assist other departments with project requests
    • Train or coordinate training efforts to ensure company employees are trained on proper use and troubleshooting techniques
    • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
    • Completion of annual Meritrust education and development program, as well as applicable programs offered
    • Provides after-hours (24/7 including weekends and holidays) on-call support as necessary

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Some college education desired
    • Three or more years of financial institution experience preferred
    • One to Three years electronic banking experience or similar field with a working knowledge of ATM operations
    • Ability to travel within Meritrust field of membership to assist on site with ATM installations, decommissions, upgrades, and maintenance as needed
