  • Overview

    The Flex Assistant Manager serves our members and employees through the active participation in the service and sales processes, coaching member consultants and assisting retail managers.


    Promotes Retail Vision:  Champions a strong needs-based sales environment; models and enforces desired sales, referral, education and service behaviors.


    Demonstrates Chameleon-like Movement:  Contributes to team eort by accomplishing related results as needed; moves seamlessly within the branch environment to ensure a defined member experience


    Possesses Operational and Regulatory Expertise:  Meticulously arranges the schedule to ensure operational aspects are complete; reinforces regulatory and procedural compliance along with safety and security of associates and assets within the branch.


    Assists Retail Manager:  Ensures commitments are kept; builds trust and respect by demonstrating unwavering integrity; assists Retail Manager in conducting sales meetings, setting goals, energizing associates, addressing performance issues,  individualizing coaching and achieving revenue targets.


    Prioritizes Communication:  Effectively communicates information to members and associates in a clear and concise manner; listens carefully; asks clarifying questions; ensures understanding; adapts style and information for each interaction.

    Sales:  Utilizes branded sales process to incorporate member segments, market opportunities, competitive forces and sales team effectiveness; identifies priorities and ensures sales teams execute against plans that focus on deepening client
    relationships, elevating market share and increasing share of wallet; assists Retail Manager in driving sales teams to build a strong pipeline and relating branch and individual performance to company’s balanced scorecard.


    Referrals:  Promotes and impacts a broad range of eco-partners in an omni channel environment; displays ability to translate referral goals into behaviors and actions that demonstrate sales targets.


    Education:  Applies knowledge of and ability to educate members and associates on banking issues, regulations, and business practices; advises, educates and engages employees and members on a variety of technological tools and resources, allowing them to explore solutions to achieve their immediate goals and overall financial well being.


    Service:  Ensures a best-in-class service experience; aids the Retail Manager in attracting, on-boarding, coaching and developing Universal Associates who fulfil the responsibility of first impression specialist, key influencer and experience curator.

    Sales experience of 3 years or more preferred

    Previous financial institution experience of 3 years or more required for success in this role, including; cash handling and member service, knowledge of principles and practices of a financial services institution.

    Supervisory and employee development experience of 3 years or more desired

    Excellent oral communication skills

    Ability to operate applicable PC programs necessary for job function

    High School diploma, bachelor's degree preferred
